So I just can't resist taking pictures of daddy and Jackson sleeping. This one was too cute for me to pass up! I believe the story goes...I asked Jarvis to watch Jackson for a minute while I run to the bathroom and get ready for bed and when I returned they were both conked out!

Jackson's 3 Months!!!
Can hardly believe Jackson is already 3 months! Although we didn't have an official Dr. visit, I got on the scale today to weigh him and he is 13 lbs 6 oz and by this picture below, you can tell he is not skipping any meals:-)
Jackson still isn't sleeping through the night but he is talking more than ever. He has learned how to squeal and gets more excited when you smile and talk back. He's starting to grab with more accuracy at his toys and anything in his sight.
To celebrate his birthday instead of buying a treat mommy made some wonderful brownies. Unfortunately he could not have any, but I took them to my bible study class and everyone enjoyed them in his honor. He of course was full off of his milk resting his hands on his stomach like an old man.:-)
And he still can't get enough of his hands, or fingers...

The Many Faces of Baby J
So as many pictures as I take you'd figure I'd get at least 10% with him smiling right? Well no... as soon as I pull out the camera Jackson is trying to figure out what this thing is blocking his view of his mommy. So here was a 10 minute session of probably 40 pics resulting in 1 smile and it was well worth it!!!

Too Big For the Tub
Bathtime is a big deal at the Boyd house. Daddy usually holds Jackson up and washes his hair while mommy rinses and washes his body. Jackson loves bath time especially the rinsing part. As you can see from the pictures he is quickly outgrowing his tub! Now he's able to sit comfortably in it and prop up his feet without any assistance from Daddy. We're just waiting for him to be able to sit up so we can move him to the tub in his bathroom.

Jackson Keeping an Eye on the Cleaning
Jackson loves to watch me fold clothes. He could sit on the bed for thirty minutes just staring in amazement. He also likes to talk to me and smile while I fold the laundry. Not sure what he likes about it, but I'm hoping this means he'll enjoy doing the laundry. What a dream husband he'll be for some future woman one day:-)
Chillin' in my Swing
Jackson has become very fond of his swing. I often catch him moving and groving to the tropical music...

Jackson Goes to Church
This Sunday marks our first Sunday back at church since Jackson was born. It felt so good to be in church again. Jackson was pretty good. He was definitely in awe of all the people singing and praising God. Service might have been a little long... towards the end Jarvis had to take him out of the sanctuary and walk around a bit. Here's a video of Jackson on his way to church...

Jackson's First Birthday Party
This Saturday Jackson went to his first birthday party. His little friend Julian turned 1 and his mom, Toria went all out and threw an extravagant bash... well as extravagant as you can get for a 1 year old.
The pajama party theme required all kids to come dressed in their pajamas. Then all the kids participated in story time, hand painting of pillowcases and bath time (a kiddie tub filled with white balloons to represent bubbles). Jackson just looked in amazement as this was his first time around so many kids. He did find a new buddy to spoil him...Christina, who held him so he could watch all the festivities:-)

Family Pictures
We took some family photos to capture Jackson at this moment in time and today we had to make the difficult choice of selecting just a few. After the appointment we grabbed lunch at a local burger joint. Jackson is getting the used to eating out now.

Daddy J and Baby J Day Out
Today Jarvis took Jackson out for a "boys day out." They went down to Daddy's business and to the barber shop, of course Jackson was just watching daddy get a cut. Jarvis said a lady asked him if Jackson was 4 months. Now I know my baby is chubby, but 4 months, come on now! Luckily Mommy wasn't there.:-)

Lunch Date
Jackson and I had a lunch date today with April. April is a friend of mine that I met when I was working for Kao Brands. We constantly sought her expertise when we needed moderator for focus groups. April and Jackson hit it off well, they were both smitten with each other. Jackson also caught the eye of some older women that couldn't help stopping at our table to chat with him. He is becomming a ladies man:-)

Superbowl Sunday
Jackson is already turning into the sports buff his dad dreams of. Very often I find Jackson glued to the TV with his dad watching the game despite my requests of no TV until age 2. For the superbowl we ordered pizza and watched all the game festivities with Jackson. He was supposed to be sleep but you know how that goes.:-)
